S101 was founded 2017, by Sara Nassim and Hrönn Kristinsdóttir, two of Iceland’s leading feature film producers.

The company aims to produce high quality feature length films both narrative and documentaries. S101’s (fka. Go to Sheep) previous work include the film Lamb by Valdimar Jóhannsson which premiered in Un Certain Regard in Cannes 2021 and Mannvirki an artistic documentary by Gústav Geir Bollason which premiered and competed in the Tiger competion in Rotterdam 2023.S101’s latest project is Björk’s Cornucopia scheduled to be released in theaters spring 2025. The company is developing Valdimar Jóhannsson’s next film Paradox, which is scheduled to shoot in late spring 2026, also in development is Gústav Geir Bollason’s new project Shadowline that will start shooting in January 2026 and There is something that illuminates and it is not the sun by Argentine director Sol Berruezo.
