Vík is a picturesque village on the south coast of Iceland. It is known for its stunning black sand beach and the iconic Reynisdrangar rock formations that serve as a backdrop to this beautiful place. Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks rising out of the ocean, making filming on the black beach close to them an absolute joy. The beach is a 3 kilometers long stretch of volcanic ash and sand and offers a fantastic contrast between the fizzing white surf and the stark black sand.
