Varmahlíð is a small town, located in the scenic Skagafjörður region. This small town of 150 inhabitants is known for its connection to the Icelandic horse and hosts many shows and equestrian championships. The houses date from various times and vary in size and looks. The main town is situated on the slope of a small hill with trees and birch bushes and a perfect view of the spectacular mountain range of Skagafjörður and the winding rivers of Héraðsvötn.
