This location is a 30-kilometres-deep fjord in the western part of Iceland. The fjord is rich with history as it was home to a British naval base in WWII. It is also rich with picturesque landscapes. The fjord is surrounded by towering mountains and cascading waterfalls. The road is also very beautiful and has been used in many car commercials over the years. Glymur Waterfall is one of Hvalfjörður’s notable attractions and is one of Iceland’s highest waterfalls. At the top of Glymur, there is a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. The waterfall itself cascades down a rocky cliff face, plummeting over 198 meters into a deep pool below. Hvalfjörður offers a variety of shooting locations for all kinds of productions for the whole 70 km.
