On Snæfellsnes Peninsula, amidst its rugged terrain, a beautiful hotel lies in the middle of a lava field with only an old church as its neighbour. With the almighty Snæfellsjökull glacier as its awe-inspiring backdrop and the endless expanse of the Atlantic Ocean in the backyard, this establishment offers a unique filming atmosphere as it blends with the dramatic, untamed nature around. Hótel Búðir is being renovated now, as they are expanding and adding 25 rooms. The renovations should be finished by May 2024.
