Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland
Photos and videos
360° view

A long, narrow stretch of black and tanned sand beach, only 4.5 kilometers from the town of Ólafsvík. The beach is 2.5 kilometers long with mixed sands and shallow waters and nothing but the endless ocean as a backdrop. On the land side of the strip, there are two small lakes with beautiful mountains in the background. Just above the sand is a wide strip of pebbles, polished by the ocean, that adds texture to the landscape and depth to the scenery.
