Arnarstapi is a charming rural village in Snæfellsnes peninsula’s beautiful landscape. It is known for its beautiful small boat marina, nestled in rocky cliffs and surrounded by beautiful, impressive stacks and boulders. A picturesque, eroded circular stone arch lies close to its shoreline, making this location spectacular. A big majestical mountain towers over the village, Mt Stapafell, a 526-metre-tall, eroded palagonitic pyramid-shaped mountain. A massive stone sculpture of a Viking sits in the middle of the village, with the almighty Atlantic Ocean as its backdrop. Truly a remarkable location with lots of variety and Snæfellsjökull glacier in the background.
